Not a product. Not a transaction. The work is understanding your whole situation before anything gets recommended, and that work is what the fee covers.

Financial planning and investment management are priced separately. Here's what each one costs.

How I'm paid

Eclipse is fee-based. You pay for advice. When a plan calls for a product or an account to be managed, I can handle that implementation directly, and I'm compensated for it. That arrangement is disclosed to you before anything is put in place.

What matters is the order those things happen in. The advice comes first, and it stands on its own. Implementation follows only when it actually serves the plan, never because it's the only way I get paid.


A prescription without an examination is malpractice.

That's why the planning fee exists. The examination is the work. Whatever gets prescribed afterward, if anything, is a separate decision, and it's yours.

An ongoing partnership for people who want a plan that stays current. Twelve months of continuous strategy, with one advisor who knows the whole picture.

Investment management

Financial planning and investment management are offered separately. You are welcome to implement your recommendations on your own, with another advisor, or with me under a separate investment management agreement. When we work together, your rate comes down as your assets grow.
